Customizer development
To help with your Customizer development, I’ve created a number of Custom Controls that you can use in your own theme or plugin. Over on my Github repo, you’ll find all the code for these Custom Controls, along with demo code for implementing these and all the core controls, in your theme.
The new Custom Controls that I’ve created are listed below. So as not to make this post incredibly long, I’m not going to list the PHP and jQuery for each control. Instead, I recommend you take a look at the Github repo if you’re interested in learning more about how these controls work.
Pine Adventures – a Quick Tutorial
PGWP is a great learning tool because you immediately start working with the real WordPress theme structure and see results of different actions and their settings.
After you master the nuts and bolts of WordPress you can keep using PGWP or code things by hand. There is no lock-in with PGWP.

Music HandyMan Toolbox is a swiss army knife toolkit of useful features, musically relevant math functions and references for musicians, sound designers and audio developers.

Upon sending the streams, the current browser player goes to the pause state (if any player element is detected) and media will be played in the external music player application. This way you can take advantage of your external player’s power and lightness.
This extension is very lightweight compared to the other similar extensions.

“Send to an External Media Player” tracks all the possible streamable media sources in your browser tabs and offers to send them to the VLC, MPlayer, or Media Player classic external music player. Upon sending the streams, the current browser player goes to the pause state (if any player element is detected) and media will be played in the external music player application.
This way you can take advantage of your external player’s power and lightness. This extension is very lightweight compared to the other similar extensions.
