Our Story

In 2018, a group of Jersey based Yoga and Mindfulness teachers decided to create a non-profit organisation offering free yoga and mindfulness sessions and courses to people on Jersey who would not normally be able to access them.

Increasing research shows that yoga and mindfulness are beneficial to mental and physical health and contribute to general well-being. With increasing rates of chronic mental and physical health problems, holistic, non-invasive approaches are increasingly being recognised as playing an important role.

So what are the meanings of the ancient practices of Mindfulness and of Yoga? How do these two modalities work by themselves? Could you combine the two for a more comprehensive, holistic approach by applying mindfulness techniques to complement your yoga practice? Or indeed practicing yoga to learn how to become still in your mindfulness practice? Either way, practicing Mindfulness and/or Yoga will bring about positive changes in your life.
